5. Proposals and Scope
Any proposal, quote, or service description is valid only for the period stated in that proposal. If no period is stated, the proposal may be changed or withdrawn at any time before payment or written acceptance.
The scope of work includes only the services and deliverables clearly stated in the approved proposal, invoice, or agreement. Anything not listed may be treated as additional work and may require a separate fee.
6. Client Responsibilities
To complete work properly, Contego may need information, access, assets, approvals, or direction from the client. You agree to provide accurate and timely information.

You are responsible for making sure any information you provide is accurate, lawful, approved for use, and not misleading. Contego is not responsible for delays, errors, or compliance issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate, late, or misleading information provided by the client.

Contego may help write or shape marketing claims, but the client is responsible for verifying all factual claims before publication.

You agree not to ask Contego to create fake proof, fake testimonials, fake payout claims, fake reviews, misleading trader stories, or unrealistic trading promises. Contego may refuse to create or publish content that we believe is deceptive, unsafe, unsupported, or harmful to brand trust.
8. AI UGC and AI-Assisted Content
Contego may use AI-assisted tools to support content strategy, writing, editing, video scripting, AI UGC production, and creative workflows.

AI UGC must not be used to create fake customer testimonials, fake trader success stories, fake payout proof, or content that falsely presents an AI-generated person as a real client or real trader. The client is responsible for reviewing and approving AI-assisted content before publication. Contego does not guarantee that AI-assisted content will be free from errors, platform restrictions, or legal concerns.
9. Testimonials, Reviews, and Endorsements
If a client asks Contego to use testimonials, reviews, influencer content, affiliate content, or customer stories, the client must make sure the material is real, approved, accurate, and properly disclosed where needed.

- Reviews must not be fake, purchased, manipulated, or misleading
- AI-generated content must not be presented as a real customer review or testimonial
Contego may reject or remove testimonial-related content if we believe it may be misleading, unsupported, or unsafe to use.

Contego does not guarantee specific marketing, financial, trading, or business results.

Contego’s role is to create marketing content and assets designed to improve clarity, visibility, content quality, and buyer understanding. Results may vary based on many factors outside our control.
11. Payments and Fees
Fees, payment terms, billing dates, and accepted payment methods will be stated in the proposal, invoice, or written agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, payments must be made before work begins, monthly services are billed in advance, one-time projects may require full or partial payment upfront, late payments may delay work, fees are non-refundable once work has started, and additional work outside scope may require an extra fee.
Contego may pause or stop work if payment is late or unpaid.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund terms depend on the service, project type, and agreement. Unless stated otherwise in writing, payments for completed work are non-refundable, payments for work already started are non-refundable, monthly retainers are non-refundable once the billing period has started, cancellations must be requested before the next billing period, and custom work, strategy work, content work, and AI UGC production are not refundable once started.
If a client cancels a project, Contego may invoice for any work completed, time spent, tools used, or costs incurred up to the cancellation date.
13. Revisions
Revision terms will be stated in the proposal, invoice, or project agreement. If no revision terms are stated, Contego may provide reasonable revisions at our discretion. Revisions must stay within the original scope. Changes that require a new direction, new strategy, new pages, new scripts, new video concepts, new research, or major structural changes may be treated as additional work.
14. Timelines and Delays
Contego will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines. Timelines may change if the client provides information late, approvals are delayed, project scope changes, additional revisions are requested, third-party tools or platforms cause delays, payment is late, or unexpected issues occur. Contego is not responsible for delays caused by the client, third-party tools, platforms, contractors, or events outside our control.
15. Client Approval
The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all deliverables before publication or use. Approval means the client has checked accuracy, brand fit, legal or compliance concerns, claims and proof, pricing and offer details, grammar and spelling, platform requirements, and internal business requirements. After approval, Contego is not responsible for issues caused by publishing, using, editing, or distributing the approved deliverables.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Contego owns all concepts, drafts, frameworks, templates, internal processes, strategy methods, systems, tools, and working files used to create the deliverables. After full payment, the client owns the final approved deliverables created specifically for their brand.

17. Portfolio Use
Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, Contego may reference completed work in our portfolio, case studies, website, social media, proposals, and marketing materials. This may include client name, logo, project description, publicly available results, screenshots of published work, and general service description. Contego will not publish confidential information, private business data, sensitive project details, or internal client materials without permission.
18. Confidentiality
Both Contego and the client may share confidential information during a project. Both parties agree to take reasonable steps to protect confidential information and not disclose it to unauthorized parties. Confidentiality does not apply to information that is publicly available, already known before disclosure, independently developed without using confidential information, required to be disclosed by law, or approved for disclosure by the other party.
19. Third-Party Tools and Platforms
Contego may use third-party tools to provide services, including tools for SEO research, analytics, AI content creation, AI UGC video production, design, project management, cloud storage, communication, website publishing, and social media scheduling. Third-party tools may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, limitations, and availability. Contego is not responsible for outages, errors, data loss, policy changes, price changes, or restrictions caused by third-party tools or platforms.
20. Website Links and Third-Party Content
Our website or deliverables may include links to third-party websites, tools, resources, platforms, or content. These links are provided for convenience or reference only. Contego is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, availability, privacy practices, or content of third-party websites or platforms.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Contego will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business-related losses. This includes loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of customers, loss of data, loss of goodwill, advertising losses, trading losses, search ranking changes, platform restrictions, or reputational harm. Contego’s total liability for any claim related to the website or services will be limited to the amount paid by the client to Contego for the specific service that caused the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.
22. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Contego from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses related to your use of our website or services, breach of these Terms, information or materials you provide to us, published marketing content, trading or business operations, products, services, offers, rules, platform, violation of laws or third-party rights, or use or misuse of deliverables.
23. Termination
Contego may suspend or terminate access to services if payment is late or unpaid, the client breaches these Terms, the client requests misleading or unlawful content, the client provides false or incomplete information, the client behaves abusively or unprofessionally, or continuing the work may harm Contego, the client, or third parties. Termination does not remove the client’s responsibility to pay for work already completed, work in progress, or costs already incurred.
24. Force Majeure
Contego is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. This may include natural disasters, internet outages, platform failures, cyberattacks, government actions, war, strikes, illness, power outages, payment processor issues, or third-party tool failures.
25. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also covered by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
26. Changes to These Terms
Contego may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
